Non-Invasive
Laboratory
This lab diagnoses abnormalities of the heart and blood
vessels without actually entering the body.
Open
Heart
Open-heart surgery is done while the bloodstream
is diverted through a heart-lung machine. Some common
open heart procedures are valve replacements and bypass
surgery (cardiac revascularization).
